Use Reseller billing on an order when you book on behalf of a reseller who collects payment from the guest. The billing reseller can be different from the customer recorded on the order.

Choose the billing reseller

  1. Create an order in Sales → Orders and add its items.
  2. Record the guest as the customer if needed.
  3. Choose Bill a reseller…, then search for and select the Billing reseller. Only contacts with a valid reseller agreement are available.
  4. Review the commission or reseller discount, reseller invoice amount and invoice timing. Items without a matching commission rule receive no deduction.
  5. Finalize the order.

On a direct-payment draft, the reseller selector stays closed until you choose Bill a reseller…. You can cancel without changing billing. Once a reseller is selected, the Reseller billing section shows the agreement details and remains visible after finalization. To bill a different reseller before processing starts, choose Change reseller and select the new billing reseller.

The amounts shown before finalization are estimates based on the current agreement and matching rules. Finalization records the financial terms. Changing the guest does not change the billing reseller.

What happens at finalization

  • Per order: KORONA Event issues a settlement invoice for this order with the recorded commission or reseller discount. Choose Open Documents in the Reseller billing section to download the invoice, then send it to the reseller through your usual communication channel.
  • Weekly or monthly: The order shows Awaiting reseller settlement. No ordinary invoice is issued. Include the eligible lines in the next reseller settlement, using the agreed period and date basis. Periodic settlements are prepared by staff; they are not scheduled automatically.

The optional booking confirmation goes to the customer recorded on the order and does not include the reseller invoice. Download that invoice from Documents and send it separately to the billing reseller through your usual communication channel.

Online and on-site payment are unavailable while reseller billing is selected. Payment is handled through reseller settlement, so do not collect the same amount from the guest again.

If per-order invoice issuance fails, finalization does not complete. Correct the reported agreement or invoice setup problem and finalize again. An existing issued invoice is retained when an operation is retried. A failure sending an issued invoice to KORONA is handled through the settlement's Retry sending action.

Change a draft to direct payment

Before processing starts, choose Change to direct payment and confirm. This removes the billing reseller and agreement deduction; the customer is billed directly and the payment method changes to Invoice. You can then choose the appropriate direct payment method.

This choice is unavailable once an order has been finalized or has financial or processing history. For financial changes after finalization, use the existing settlement correction workflow. Before completing a financial change, review the proposed reseller invoice total and the additional amount or credit amount. Existing quantities keep their recorded terms; added quantities use the current agreement. For per-order agreements, completing financial changes or canceling creates the corresponding settlement correction. For periodic agreements, corrections enter the next settlement. Issued invoices retain their original history.

Choosing a reseller as the ordinary customer alone does not select Reseller billing. Use the separate billing control when the reseller agreement should apply.
