Use dark mode in the back office

Use dark mode when you prefer a darker interface for the ToucanTix back office. The setting changes back-office surfaces, text, borders, forms, editors, and status controls without changing customer-facing online shop colors.

Switch between light and dark mode

1. Open the user menu from the account icon in the back-office navigation.
2. Find Theme.
3. Select the switch toward the sun icon for light mode or the moon icon for dark mode.

The new mode applies immediately. ToucanTix saves the selection in the current browser, so the same mode is used when you return to the back office.

Follow the device color scheme

Before you choose a mode, the back office follows the light or dark color scheme set by your operating system or browser. It also responds when that system setting changes.

After you use the Theme switch, your selected mode takes priority over the system setting. Clear the site's stored browser data if you want the back office to follow the system setting again.

Check your result

Confirm that page backgrounds, text, borders, form controls, rich-text editors, upload controls, and menus remain readable. Status colors and the orange primary actions should remain distinct in both modes.
