Change labels or translated shop content

Use this when the online shop shows the wrong event name, page label, button-adjacent copy, or translated text.

Before you start

Identify where the text appears:

Text locationWhere to edit
Event or time slot nameThe offer's Edit page, under Services.
Event descriptionThe offer's Edit page and Add description.
Shop page navigationShops > shop > Pages or Page Builder.
Checkout copy or fieldsShops > shop > Checkout.
Calendar or time-slot legend labelsShops > shop > Calendar or Time Slots.
Legal document titlesAdmin > Profile > Legal texts.
Email wordingComms > Email Templates.

Steps

  1. Open the back-office page that owns the text.
  2. Edit the default-language Name, Description, or label field.
  3. Use the language controls to add or update translations.
  4. Save the form.
  5. Open the online shop and switch languages.
  6. Complete a short test when the text appears during checkout or confirmation.

For calendar and time-slot legends, open Calendar or Time Slots, enable the legend, and translate each legend item label with the language controls. Customers see the translated label on the booking calendar and start-time selection.

Each legend item must have a distinct visible label in every shop language. A translated label cannot duplicate another item's translated label or its default-label fallback. Capitalization and surrounding spaces do not make labels distinct.

For required legal documents, translate the document Name. Checkout and payment review use that translated title for the document link under each acceptance checkbox.

Expected result

Customers see the updated text in the selected shop language, and staff still see enough internal context to identify the offer or page.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to check
Translation is missingThe specific language field, shop language availability, and whether only the default language was edited.
Old label still appearsBrowser cache, shop preview versus live shop, page builder draft, and whether the text belongs to another page.
Email still has old wordingEmail template language variant and whether a scheduled email used an older template.
Legal link still shows the default-language titleThe document Name translation for the shop language, and a hard refresh after switching language.
Legend label changes cannot be savedDuplicate default or translated labels. Check every configured language, including labels that fall back to the default language.
Saving asks you to reload the configurationReload the page before editing again. The open page contains an older version of the legend entries and is blocked from overwriting newer translations.
