Change labels or translated shop content
Use this when the online shop shows the wrong event name, page label, button-adjacent copy, or translated text.
Before you start
Identify where the text appears:
| Text location | Where to edit |
|---|---|
| Event or time slot name | The offer's Edit page, under Services. |
| Event description | The offer's Edit page and Add description. |
| Shop page navigation | Shops > shop > Pages or Page Builder. |
| Checkout copy or fields | Shops > shop > Checkout. |
| Email wording | Comms > Email Templates. |
Steps
- Open the back-office page that owns the text.
- Edit the default-language Name, Description, or label field.
- Use the language controls to add or update translations.
- Save the form.
- Open the online shop and switch languages.
- Complete a short test when the text appears during checkout or confirmation.
Expected result
Customers see the updated text in the selected shop language, and staff still see enough internal context to identify the offer or page.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Translation is missing | The specific language field, shop language availability, and whether only the default language was edited. |
| Old label still appears | Browser cache, shop preview versus live shop, page builder draft, and whether the text belongs to another page. |
| Email still has old wording | Email template language variant and whether a scheduled email used an older template. |
