Find attendees and their tickets at the POS
Use the attendee list when someone arrives without a ticket code or when you need to find other people in the same booking. You need permission to view attendances; Check in appears only with permission to update them.
Find an attendee
- From the POS agenda, open Attendees.
- Enter the attendee's or customer's name, a ticket number or an order number, then select Search. Names collected in custom fields must use the first-name or last-name mapping to be included in name search.
- Tap the matching row. Compare the offer and customer to distinguish people with the same name.
Each attendee shows whether they are checked in and their most relevant ticket: its product, ticket number, a status such as Valid, Not yet valid, Expired or Used up, its validity dates and the entries used out of its allowance. A usable ticket is shown first. If the attendee also has an upcoming ticket, its product, status, validity dates and entries appear on a second line, so you can check the current membership and next renewal together. +1 more counts further ticket summaries that are not shown in the list; open the attendee to see them. Shared allowances are labelled, and ∞ means unlimited entries. These counts represent recorded ticket uses, including manual check-in; they are not a count of every attempted scan. Different tickets remain separate.
The detail shows tickets and check-in first. Customer contact information and addresses, the linked order, attendee answers and attachments, and booking answers follow beside them on a till or below them on a handheld. Select Open order to inspect the order; going back returns you to the attendee.
Verify children arriving with a caregiver
Search for the adult recorded as the booking customer, then open a child's row to compare the children and each ticket's validity. The accompanying caregiver can be a different person from the booking customer. People shown together are linked by their booking or ticket; this does not establish a family relationship or permission to accompany a child.
If children's names were recorded in Customer notes, read those notes in the customer section. Notes are not included in name search. Search directly for a child when their name is stored on the attendee or mapped first-name and last-name fields.
Open an attendee from a scanned ticket
When the attendee list is launched from the POS with a scanned ticket number, an exact match opens its primary holder, or its sole matching attendee. For shared tickets, the detail also shows related people. An ambiguous or unknown number opens search results instead of choosing a person. Saved filters still constrain the matches. Returning to the list or clearing the search does not repeat the launch scan.
For a direct entry point, keep the POS origin, configured base path and optional locale before /attendances?ticketNumber=…. For example, a POS hosted under /kiosk with English selected uses /kiosk/en/attendances?ticketNumber=…; without a base path or locale, use /attendances?ticketNumber=…. URL-encode the ticket number. A scan only opens information; it does not check anyone in automatically.
Check in and reprint
The attendee you opened is already selected. Check in uses their ticket straight away when exactly one ticket is usable. If several tickets are usable, choose one first; the screen asks you to. Tickets that are expired, used up or not yet valid cannot be chosen.
Reprint continues to the print screen, where you review the selected tickets before printing. A shared ticket is selected once. Reprint requires a linked order and printable tickets, so it does not appear for an attendee without an order.
Work with related people
When other people share a ticket, a booked offer or an order with the attendee, they appear with that relationship. These labels describe the booking; they do not necessarily mean the people are a family. Use Load more people from this order when more results are available.
Tick the people you want to act on. Check in shows how many people it will admit: people already checked in and people without a usable ticket are left out. For a shared allowance, each person uses one entry from it. An individual ticket cannot be shared in a group check-in.
After a check-in error, review the refreshed status before retrying. The message gives the reason when one is known, such as a required answer that is missing. This screen does not record repeated membership visits.
Open a filtered list at the POS
In the back-office attendance list, save the required filters. Open the saved filter's menu and copy its POS URL. Use that URL for a focused POS entry point, such as membership holders. Searching or clearing the search keeps the saved filter applied.
