Use the reseller's Overview in Sales → Customers to let its agents sign in to the KORONA Event reseller portal. Access is switched on for the reseller as a whole, and each agent needs their own activated login.
Before you start
- You need permission to edit contacts.
- The reseller needs a saved agreement. The switch cannot be turned on without one.
- Each agent needs their own contact with an email address. Only one login can exist per email address.
Switch on access for the reseller
- Open Sales → Customers and select the reseller.
- On the Overview tab, find Reseller portal in the company information.
- If the field says Add a reseller agreement before enabling portal access., choose Add agreement, save the agreement, and return to Overview.
- Switch Reseller portal on. The field shows Enabled, and the reseller's status shows Reseller portal access.
While access is on, the field also shows the reseller portal address. Select the address to open the portal in a new tab, or select the copy icon next to it to copy the address and send it to the reseller. The address is the same for every reseller: each agent signs in there with their own email address and password.
If the field says Reseller agreements are not activated for your account., contact KORONA Event support.
While none of the reseller's contacts can sign in, a warning says No contact can sign in to the reseller portal yet. For a company, Invite contacts opens the Contacts tab. For an individual customer with an email address, Send invitation sends the invitation straight away. The info icon next to Reseller portal explains what the switch does.
Access applies to the reseller as a whole: every contact of the reseller with an activated login can sign in and sees the same orders.
Invite agents
A contact without an activated login receives an invitation with a link to set a password. One login is used for both the online shop and the reseller portal.
- Open the reseller's Contacts tab.
- Choose Invite to portal on the contact's card. The contact receives an email with a link to the reseller portal.
The button is unavailable, with a tooltip explaining why, when the contact has no email address or portal access is not switched on. Contacts who can already sign in show Can sign in instead.
For an individual customer, or to hand over the link another way, open the actions menu next to Status on the Overview tab and choose Send reseller portal invitation, Copy reseller portal activation link, or Open reseller portal activation link.
The agent opens the link, sees Activate your reseller portal account, chooses a password, and is signed in. When you copy or open an activation link to share it, the agent must also confirm their email address through the confirmation email sent after activation. Send agents Sign in to the reseller portal so they know what to expect.
What the agent sees
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| Login activated and reseller access switched on | The agent signs in at the reseller portal address shown in the reseller's Reseller portal field and sees the reseller's orders. |
| Login activated but reseller access switched off | The agent can sign in but sees No access to the reseller portal. Switch on access for the reseller. |
| Login already activated for the online shop | No invitation is needed. The agent signs in to the portal with the same email address and password. |
| Activation link used after the account was activated | The link can activate the account once. Opening it does not activate the account by itself. If the account is already activated, sign in or use Forgot password?. Resending an invitation to a contact whose login is still disabled keeps their activation link valid. |
Remove an agreement
Removing the agreement blocks new orders. Portal access stays enabled, so agents can still view existing orders and download tickets, and the Reseller portal field warns The reseller can't place new orders until an agreement is added. Save an agreement again to restore booking. See Configure a reseller agreement.
Remove access
- To stop one agent from signing in, open their overview and choose Disable account login in the actions menu. This also disables their login for the online shop.
- To stop the whole reseller, switch Reseller portal off on the reseller's overview. Agents keep their login but see No access to the reseller portal.
Review reseller orders and order value
Open the reseller in Sales → Customers. Its order count and Orders tab show orders placed by or for the reseller, including orders created by any of its agents. Each guest has their own customer record; the reseller remains responsible for billing.
Reseller order value is the gross value of booked and reserved reseller orders, including taxes and discounts. Draft, cancelled, and expired orders are excluded. It is an order value, not a commission amount or the amount due for settlement. The order history remains available after you switch off portal access.
