Use ticket collection and membership at self-checkout
- Availability
- Beta
Use the optional self-checkout start menu to offer ticket collection, ticket purchases, and member purchases on the same kiosk.
Collect paid tickets
- Select I already have tickets.
- Scan the ticket or order QR code. Manual order-number entry is not available.
- Collect the tickets when they print.
Whole-order collection prints eligible tickets in the paid order, including when the customer scans an individual ticket. A kiosk configured for individual-ticket collection requires a ticket QR code instead. Collection does not start a new sale or card payment. Orders with an outstanding balance must be handled by staff.
Tickets sent to the printer means the print command was submitted, not that paper or wristbands have physically printed. If nothing prints, or only some tickets print, ask staff for help before scanning again.
Optional check-in
Automatic check-in is not available in the current kiosk integration. Configure collection without check-in and record admission separately at the staffed entrance. Automatic check-in requires a supported printer-acceptance acknowledgement before it can be enabled.
Without check-in, a deliberate new scan can reprint tickets without recording admission. If collection stops partway through, staff should check the order and admission history, then use the staffed POS reprint workflow for the missing tickets. Do not create another purchase to replace missing print output.
Start a member purchase
- Select I am a member and scan the membership card.
- Choose the tickets and quantities.
- Review the calculated prices before completing the purchase.
The card must contain the customer number supported by the configured integration. Membership benefits come from the customer associated with the order and the existing bLoyal configuration; the kiosk does not define its own membership allowances. If the card is not recognized, direct the customer to staff.
Where configured, customers can add a fixed donation or select No, thank you. The displayed total includes the configured purchase calculations. A zero-total order completes without starting a card payment. Normal purchases use the kiosk's standard ticket printing.
Cancellation, inactivity restart, and returning to the start screen clear the member selection for the next customer.
